Many people who have IBS have found following a low FODMAP diet reduces the number of flare ups gastrointestinal issues. From there, continue to omit foods that you find are a trigger for your IBS symptoms.

However, the available scientific literature has showed that gluten-free diet may improve symptoms of abdominal pain and tiredness and can be recommended to patients with IBS.
