People will experience jaw pain, headaches, jaw damage, dental disorders, tinnitus (ringing or other noises in one or both ears), sleep disorders and it can have a huge impact on which nutrients you can chew without feeling pain, what can lead to malnourishment.
They may have pain near the ear that is worse with chewing and headaches. Sometimes people hear sounds like click or pop when mobilizing the temporomandibular joint. There is a chance of having limited jaw opening and eventual locking episodes. Additionally, there might be otologic symptoms like pain, decreased hearing acuity and tinnitus.
