SAM THOMPSON WROTE WILL DURING HOSPITAL STAY BECAUSE HE 'THOUGHT IT WAS THE END'

Sam Thompson has revealed he wrote a will during his recent hospital stay because he thought he wasn't going to make it.

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Here! winner recently worried fans when he posted a picture from a hospital without explanation.

During Monday's episode of his Staying Relevant podcast, Sam revealed to listeners that he took himself to hospital with "throbbing head pains" and ended up staying for two days.

"I was in a really, really bad way actually. I was kept in for two days," he told co-host Pete Wicks. "It was really f**king scary. I was on my own at home... I was terrified, I was literally like, 'What am I going to do?' That's why I took myself to hospital.

"I took myself to A&E and I was literally like, 'I think I'm dying.' And they were like, 'Why? What are your symptoms?' And genuinely, I'm not even joking, my head was absolutely throbbing. I'd like collapsed, I'm not even joking, I'd fallen over and I'd never done that before in my life. I was so weak. I genuinely thought it was the end... I wrote a will."

The former Made in Chelsea star explained that he asked a nurse for a pen and paper so he could "get (his) affairs in order" in case he passed away.

"Do you know what I started with, 'To whomever it may concern,'" he laughed. "So (girlfriend) Zara (McDermott) got the gaff and the cats, Pete got the other half of Staying Relevant Productions, my little nephew got my watches."

The 31-year-old explained that Zara was away at the time so he called his sister Louise Thompson and "cried into (her) arms" when she arrived at the hospital.

After undergoing tests, including an MRI scan and lumbar puncture, it was discovered that Sam had "very low" levels of the protein globulin in his blood as well as a low white blood cell count.
